Main Side Effects

・Diarrhea

These may appear when you start taking the medication, but may improve with continued use.

In rare cases, a serious side effect called lactic acidosis may occur. If you experience symptoms such as severe fatigue, shortness of breath, muscle pain, or impaired consciousness, stop taking the medication and seek medical attention immediately.

・Always take after meals.・Drink plenty of fluids.・Avoid excessive alcohol consumption, as it increases the risk of lactic acidosis.・If you experience dehydration due to fever, diarrhea, vomiting, etc., stop taking the medication and consult your doctor.・Regular kidney function tests are recommended.

The following individuals should not take this medication:

・Those with severe kidney dysfunction
・Those with severe liver dysfunction
・Those with severe heart failure or respiratory failure
・Those who are dehydrated
・Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding
・Those with a history of hypersensitivity to any ingredient in this medication
・Those for whom a doctor has deemed this medication unsuitable
