The first earrings used at our clinic are suitable for individuals with metal allergies (only for earlobes less than 8mm thick). Please note that designs cannot be specified.

Indications

Safe piercing at a medical institution. Medical-grade piercers are used, and the procedure is performed by doctors and nurses, minimizing the risk of infection. The pain is comparable to that of a general piercer, but proper aftercare instructions help prevent complications.

Directions and Dosage

First piercing wear period: 6-8 weeks. During this time, clean and care for the piercing twice a day with the antibiotic ointment provided. Take oral antibiotics as directed by your doctor.

Bleeding, swelling, and pain immediately after treatment (improves within a few days) / Redness and itching around the piercing / Infection (preventable with proper care) / Metal allergy reaction / Displacement or distortion of the piercing hole

Precautions for use

Leave your first earrings in for at least 6 to 8 weeks without removing them. During this period, clean and care for the piercings twice a day with the antibiotic ointment provided, keeping the holes clean while moving them.

To prevent infection, take the oral antibiotics provided on the day of the procedure as directed by your doctor.

Avoid swimming pools and hot springs until the piercing holes are fully healed, due to the risk of infection.

Contraindications - Who Should Not Use

Individuals with keloid predisposition / pregnant or breastfeeding individuals (consultation required) / individuals with infectious diseases (skin conditions, systemic) / individuals with chronic diseases affecting blood coagulation or taking related medications / individuals with metal allergies whose condition cannot be accommodated by the planned piercing

FAQs

Is the treatment painful?

With a piercer, there's a momentary "snap" and a slight pain, but it subsides in a few seconds. It's not a strong enough pain to require anesthesia.

When can I remove my first earrings?

Leave your first earrings in for at least 6 to 8 weeks (this varies from person to person). Removing them too soon can prevent the piercing from stabilizing and cause the hole to close.

Can minors receive treatment?

If you are 16 years of age or older, you can receive treatment if you bring a consent form from a parent or guardian. Please contact us for details.

Can I get both ears pierced at the same time?

Yes, if you wish, we can perform the treatment on both ears at the same time. The price is for both ears.

Will aftercare medication be prescribed? Are there any additional charges?

The treatment fee includes oral antibiotics for infection prevention and antibiotic ointment (for aftercare). These will be provided at no additional cost. In the unlikely event that an infection is suspected, additional prescriptions or procedures may be performed (which may be covered by insurance).
