How to Use

Take one 20mg tablet after meals.

Generally, improvement is seen and recurrence is less likely after taking the medication for 4-6 months.

Remarks

Isotretinoin has been reported to cause fetal teratogenicity. Both men and women must use contraception while taking this medication. If you are planning to conceive, please wait at least 2 months after discontinuing the medication before attempting to do so.
It is recommended to start taking the medication on the 2nd or 3rd day of a normal menstrual cycle.
A pregnancy test is also recommended to rule out pregnancy.
Avoid taking supplements containing Vitamin A.
It cannot be used in conjunction with DoxyPEP, so please consult us if you are taking DoxyPEP.
Do not donate blood during treatment and for one month after discontinuing the medication.
Liver function values in blood tests may worsen due to the medication. Regular blood tests are recommended (we can provide testing kits at our clinic, so please consult us if you wish to use them).
Isotretinoin may worsen depression and psychosis (the mechanism of action is not clear).
Although very rare, if you experience severe or persistent headaches, visual disturbances, nausea, or vomiting, please contact the clinic immediately.
If you are undergoing or planning to undergo medical hair removal, laser treatment, or skin surgery, please be sure to consult your clinic, as taking isotretinoin may cause hyperpigmentation or interfere with healing.
