Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite. These often occur at the start of treatment or when the dose is increased, and may lessen with continued use.
If severe side effects such as intense abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, symptoms of hypoglycemia, or symptoms suggestive of acute pancreatitis occur, discontinue use and promptly seek medical attention.
